What Does this abdominal Scan Result Mean?
yes sir, Iam just at hospital collecting my abdominal scan and it read non obstructive left renal calculi wiyh a tiny, brightly echogenic particles in the collecting system of the left kidney with the larger one measuring 0.4mm in size. what advice will you offer me

1.Report suggest an non obstructive calculus in the left kidney - which does not need specific treatment other than good hydration ( good amount of water)
2.The measurement is probably 4 mm as 0.4mm will not be seen.
3.Take plenty of water with symptomatic treatment.
4.Multiple echo-genic ( hyper-echoic) means multiple tiny calculi.
5.Sugget a followup scan after a 6-8 weeks time with plenty of water.
